My Child

I have been to several parks over the years and I recently went back to a park that is near where my grandmother lives. I drove her out because she cannot walk very well. When I first learned how to drive, my grandmother came with me to this park and the roadway was clear, there were signs on all of the historical sights and there were some cars and people walking through the woods. When I returned with my grandmother a couple of years ago, the roads were grown over, there were deep ditches, no one manning the park entrance and some signs were missing. It was sad and because I had such good memories I wanted to preserve it as much as I could. I donate now so that my daughter will be able to enjoy these parks and create fond memories like my own. I want to take her to as many national parks as I can and if I know I am contributing then I know that part of my contributions are helping to not only preserve parks, but memories as well.
