My Backyard National Park

By P.L.Karie
March 16, 2013

Fire changes the landscapes of our Parks, our lives. This is My Park. I live less than an hour away and spend many hours each month in Rocky Mountain National Park. This Park that is the second most visited Park on Earth has just lost nearly $1 million in funding. This is a disgrace to America. Where corporations take and take, but the American Park System that serves all must suffer. We have an over growth of elk and no wolves to thin the heard. What insanity is it that we "know" more than nature. I look forward to the time when we can keep our all of our National Park Creatures safe to be true to their nature in Parks.
