I don't want to see the national parks overlooked.

My husband and I hike through and picnic in many of the northern California parks throughout the year (from Santa Cruz to Oregon). Occasionally we come across one of our favorites and the gate is closed because there is no funding to keep the park open. It really makes me sad, especially when these parks have been favorites of mine since childhood. I don't want to see the national parks overlooked. They are a valuable heritage.
