Our parks are under constant pressure from pollution, development, and the growing climate crisis. Advocacy is crucial to the fate of our parks and their last line of defense. People need to understand that our parks need organizations that will fight for them. That’s especially important at a time when budgets are tight. NPCA is the critical third party — a voice outside of government — that pushes back on those forces that would develop, destroy, and further weaken protections for our endangered parks, wild lands, and animals.
