Grand Canyon

My favorite park without a doubt is the Grand Canyon. I have visited South Rim a number of times and rafted the Colorado River through the Canyon 4 times -- twice with my daughter who is a guide. I will be really disappointed and upset if the the Navajo Nation completes the Grand Canyon Escalade Project which is to be completed by 2015. If completed an aerial tramway would descend 3,300 feet to the confluence of the Little Colorado River. This borders and will be seen from the east end of the G.C. National Park. It is to risky and an inappropriate project next to such a special National Park. I hope NPCA will help support opposition to this project. This is one of the reasons that I support the NPCA.
