Community donation

By Dave Kindel and Jennifer Bruce
July 26, 2014

Dave and I were recently married in a state park, and told our guests that 10% of the funds we received for our wedding would go to the National Parks Conservation Association. We have always both loved the wild outdoors, and had explored and enjoyed many national parks such as the Grand Canyon, Yellowstone, and Yosemite in our post-college years. After we met, we learned more about each other over miles of rugged mountain trials, while breathing fresh summer air, while looking down at spectacular valley views, and on boardwalk trails through southern swamps. What a way to live, to explore, to fall in love. National Parks are often a place where you find yourself and rediscover what it feels like to be alive in the most basic way possible. They're often a place that kindle's new love, renews everyday love, and creates a space that not only allows the mind to appreciate nature but reminds the heart about loved ones.
