America's Best Idea

By Kent McDonald
October 5, 2013

After a couple of trips to Rocky Mountain National Park, seeing Ken Burn's Mini Series on the National Parks, and reflecting on how visiting National Parks helps me keep things in perspective and connect with myself, I made it my goal to visit every National Park in the United States. This country offers such a variety of beautiful spaces protected by the National Parks. Each one offers its own unique beauty and all of them help me to remember what's really important. I give to the NPCA to make sure that my Daughter can some day take her kids to the National Parks and enjoy the splendor of this country just like we have with her.
