A Road Trip to Remember

Last summer I spent two months with my best friend traveling from National Park to National Park. We backpacked The Narrows in Zion, climbed Half Dome in Yosemite, saw icebergs in Glacier National Park, and so so so much more. It was truly the best time of my life. The sights I saw where things that I would never see again in my everyday life in the city. I find myself thinking fondly on the giant trees in California, the rain forest in the Pacific Northwest, and all the struggle and adventures I had. I was able to see stars! They were beautiful. This trip really showed me how important National Parks are. They provide a place where people can escape and really enjoy what nature has to offer. Without them where will people learn to appreciate the importance of protecting nature? National Parks help protect plant and animal life, and help educate people on the importance of protecting them. Not to mention there everyone we met on our trip had great stories, tips, and experiences to share with us. We really took a lot away from visiting all these beautiful places and if I could I would explore them everyday.
