The Pedal for the Park Bicycle Event
The Pedal for the Park bicycle event, set for May 11, 2013 and sponsored by the Friends of Mammoth Cave National Park, is fast approaching. Sign up by Noon on May 9 on line at www.friendsofmammothcave.org to take advantage of early registration benefits. There will also be a new pre-Pedal registration event the evening of May 10 at Park Mammoth Resort where an all-you-can-eat pasta dinner and live entertainment will be available. Bring the family, meet fellow riders, and enjoy a fun evening!
All three rides depart and return to the Park picnic area. Late registration will also be available the morning of the ride on site. Proceeds from Pedal for the Park support Park programs, projects, and activities, like the new Student Transportation Program. This program provides grants to cover bus transportation for field trips that would otherwise not be possible. All donations are tax deductible.
