2013 Schedule of Volunteer Events at Kenilworth Aquatic Gardens

Date: March 23, 2013 to November 16, 2013
Location: Washington, D.C.

Activities run rain or shine; severe weather cancels.

Kenilworth Aquatic Gardens is located at 1550 Anacostia Avenue NE, Washington, DC 20019 (the Deanwood station on the Orange line is the closest Metro stop). Kenilworth Aquatic Gardens has ample, free, off-street parking.

All volunteers are strongly urged to wear clothing appropriate to the work at hand, meaning long-sleeved shirts, long pants, and (please) no open-toe shoes. The basic equipment required to perform volunteer service work (gloves, boots, waders, tools) will be provided on site, along with potable water and light snacks.

RSVPs (especially for those coming with large groups or for volunteers with special needs) are preferred but walk-ons are quite welcome.

Volunteers under the age of 18 are also welcome but will need to be accompanied by a parent or guardian.
