August 7-11, 2014
The Rocky Mountains are as accessible as they are awe-inspiring, so we invite you to experience them with NPCA on this summer weekend adventure. Our special family tour takes your family deep into the heart of the Rockies with three fuller-than-full days in stunning Rocky Mountain National Park for hiking, as well as horseback riding and water activities at Grand Lake.
Rocky Mountain National Park is filled with lowland meadows, subalpine lakes, and alpine tundra. We’ll see them all as we traverse the famous Trail-Ridge-Road. With hundreds of miles of trails to choose from, this park is ideal for both easy day hikes and the backcountry adventures. We stick to the trails most with easy access and known for impressive wildlife sightings—like moose, elk, and more.
This NPCA Family Adventure is sure to be a vacation filled with magic moments you’ll all remember forever!
