Tour Description
NPCA invites you to join this leisurely motorcoach visit to six of our nation’s most majestic national parks on one great tour. Begin your trip in Arizona with a visit to Sedona and the Oak Creek Canyon, as you traverse one of the ten most scenic drives in America. Marvel at the Grand Canyon’s mystic proportions from some of the best vantage points along the North Rim. Continue your journey as you to compare the famed hoodoo formations of Bryce Canyon National Park to the acclaimed geological arches of Zion National Park. Head north to the Greater Yellowstone Ecosystem to observe the aspens’ changing colors against a backdrop of the majestic Teton Range in Grand Teton National Park. Then it’s into Yellowstone National Park for a unique display of elk, bison, and moose in rut. Conclude your trip in stately Mount Rushmore National Memorial.

September 18: Arrival in Scottsdale, Arizona
The tour begins in the world-famous town of Scottsdale. Courtyard by Marriott (D)
September 19: Scottsdale to Sedona, Arizona
Visit to the artists’ colony of Sedona before stopping at the spectacular Oak Creek Canyon. See the amazing rock formations change hue with each turn in the road. Later today, you arrive at Lake Powell. Lake Powell Resort & Marina (B,D)
September 20: Glen Canyon National Recreation Area & Grand Canyon National Park
Embark on a delightful breakfast cruise* on scenic Lake Powell. Then travel to scenic Glen Canyon, Marble Canyon, and the spectacular Grand Canyon. Dinner is in the historic Grand Canyon Lodge, offering fine dining in a casual atmosphere, with magnificent views overlooking the rim of the Canyon. Grand Canyon Lodge (B,D)
September 21: Bryce Canyon, & Zion National Parks
Travel north to Bryce Canyon National Park, truly one of the most spectacular scenic wonders of the world. View the famous orange and red hoodoos created by wind and water erosion over eons of time. September 22: Zion National Park to Salt Lake City, Utah
Continue north to Salt Lake City -- the “City of the Saints” -- where you may want to explore Temple Square, a beautifully landscaped 10-acre plot in the heart of downtown Salt Lake City. September 23: Salt Lake City, Utah
Enjoy a guided tour of Salt Lake City, featuring the Great Salt Lake, the state capitol, and the residential district. The remainder of the day is at leisure. Radisson Hotel Salt Lake (B)
September 24: Jackson Hole, Wyoming
En route to Jackson Hole, you pass majestic Bear Lake Summit. Snow King Resort (B)
September 25: Jackson Hole, Wyoming
Explore Jackson Hole at leisure with optional activities of a hike or river float. Regroup for an evening of cowboy entertainment and dinner. Snow King Resort (B,D)
September 26: Grand Tetons & Yellowstone National Parks
Pass by the towering peaks of Grand Teton and Mount Moran as you journey to the Upper Geyser Basin in Yellowstone. Take time to watch an eruption from the world-famous Old Faithful Geyser. Grant Village or Old Faithful Snow Lodge (B)
September 27: Yellowstone National Park & Cody, Wyoming
Begin the voyage to Cody with a trip along Lake Yellowstone and over Sylvan Pass. From the mountains to the prairies, the scenery is simply amazing. Visit the Buffalo Bill Historical Center, a tribute to Buffalo Bill Cody. Holiday Inn Sheridan (B)
September 28: Mount Rushmore National Memorial

Depart for home from Custer with many wonderful memories.

NPCA Member Price
$2,819 per person double occupancy; $1000 single supplement.
Deposit
$250 per person.
Price Includes
All accommodations, meals as noted (B-Breakfast, L-Lunch, D-Dinner), ground transportation, park entrance fees, and professional guide services.
Price Does Not Include
Roundtrip airfare, airport/hotel transfers in Scottsdale and Custer, gratuities for tour managers, alcoholic beverages, or personal expenses.
Payments/Cancellations
Space is confirmed by calling the NPCA at 800.628.7275. A $250 per person deposit is due at registration. Final payment will be invoiced separately and is due 60 days prior to departure. Cancellation notice must be submitted in writing and is effective upon date of receipt. Cancellations up to 60 days prior receive a refund, less a $200 per person handling fee. Cancellations within 60 days of departure could result in the loss of 100% of your total cost.

To protect yourself from the loss of deposit and cancellation fees, you are encouraged to purchase travel insurance. If you need assistance, NPCA recommends contacting Travel Insurance Services.
