NPCA is delighted to welcome documentary film maker Ken Burns as a special guest at the April 2009 Salute to the Parks Gala. He will show a sneak preview from his upcoming series The National Parks: Americas Best Idea which will air nationwide on public broadcasting stations in September, 2009.  He will also share his thoughts about the National Park System and the lessons learned from making the film.

The Gala is the highlight of a week's worth of activities involving NPCA’s Board of Trustees and National Council members and serves to engage them further in appreciating NPCA's mission and the work of the organization on behalf of America's national parks.

Sponsorship Opportunities are available year-round. Call Russ Hornbeck, Associate Director, Corporate Relations, at 800.628.7275 for more information.
