Alaska National Parks Discovery Series

The National Parks Conservation Association (NPCA) is proud to host the second season in an exciting new lecture series to introduce residents to Alaska's 15 national parks, monuments, and preserves, which encompass two-thirds the total acreage of America's National Park System. A diverse array of Alaskan speakers will share personal stories inspired by Alaska’s national parks. From Katmai's world-renowned brown bears to Gates of the Arctic National Park and Preserve, the series will highlight recreational opportunities, significant historical and cultural sites, and the role parks play as a driving force for Alaska's economy.
