The National Parks Conservation Association (NPCA) is proud to host this exciting lecture series to introduce residents to Alaska's 15 national parks, monuments, and preserves, which encompass two-thirds the total acreage of America's National Park System. A diverse array of Alaskan speakers will share personal stories inspired by Alaska’s national parks. From Katmai's world-renowned brown bears to Gates of the Arctic National Park and Preserve, the series will highlight recreational opportunities, significant historical and cultural sites, and the role parks play as a driving force for Alaska's economy.
