Elevating Mount St. Helens to a National Park Service site will take the help and support of thousands of people just like you. Here are a few ways you can help the cause.
- Spread the word:

A critical mass of support is essential to elevating Mount St Helens to national park status. Meetings with key community leaders and organizations are critical to the effort. For example, meetings with local and state elected officials, business owners, and conservation, and recreation groups are especially important. - Alert the Press:
Building a large coalition and broad spectrum of supporters takes more than personal meetings. Reaching out to the media is also critical to the effort. Writing letters to the editor supporting the park idea is one important way to do this. Links to local newspapers are here:
