Appalachian National Scenic Trail Map

Selected points along the Appalachian National Scenic Trail

This map shows the Appalachian National Scenic Trail from its southern terminus at Springer Mountain, Georgia, to its northernmost point on Mount Katahdin in Maine, as well as seven selected points in between. The placemarkers identify places of interest, issues, and projects that are highlighted in NPCA’s special report on the A.T., which is available for download here. The location of the trail and placemarkers are approximate in some locations. Please refer to the official Appalachian Trail guidebooks and maps for exact trail location.
